Referral Program Terms
The full terms and conditions of the ACAC $500 referral gift card program.
These terms govern the Australian Community Aged Care (ACAC) referral gift card program (the "Program"), run by My Nursing Agency Pty Ltd trading as Australian Community Aged Care. By submitting a referral through our referral form, you agree to these terms.
Who can take part
Anyone aged 18 or over may submit a referral — including family members, friends, neighbours, healthcare professionals, social workers and hospital staff. You can't refer yourself. ACAC employees and contractors referring someone as part of their normal paid duties are not eligible for the reward; this keeps the Program a genuine word-of-mouth thank-you, not a work incentive.
What makes a referral eligible
A referral is eligible for the $500 reward when all of the following are true:
- The person referred is a genuinely new enquiry to ACAC — not a current or former ACAC client, and not someone who has already contacted us independently in the past 3 months.
- You confirm, at the time of submitting the form, that you have the referred person's consent for ACAC to contact them about their care needs.
- The referred person goes on to enter a service agreement with ACAC and completes their first paid service visit.
When the reward is paid
Once the referred person has completed their first paid service visit, we'll confirm the referral details and send your $500 gift card within 30 days. There's no limit to how many times you can refer someone and receive the reward — every eligible referral counts.
The reward itself
The reward is a $500 gift card. It isn't transferable, can't be exchanged for cash, and can't be combined with other ACAC offers unless we say so in writing. If a reward is issued in error — for example, based on inaccurate or fraudulent referral details — ACAC may withhold or ask for it back. Any tax treatment of the reward is the recipient's own responsibility.
Referring someone's personal details
When you refer someone, you're sharing their name and contact details with us. We only use that information to reach out about their potential care needs, in line with our Privacy Policy. The decision to become an ACAC client — and every aspect of the care we go on to provide — is entirely the referred person's own choice, made on its merits. The referral reward has no bearing on the type, quality or urgency of the care we deliver.
Changes to the Program
ACAC may change, pause or end this Program at any time, including the reward amount or eligibility rules. Any changes apply to referrals submitted after the change is made — referrals already in progress will still be honoured under the terms that applied when they were submitted.
